5 guitar stand

Have just bought a new guitar, an Epiphone SG to be specific (left-handed) and the head is very heavy?

Is this how all of them, as when I stand with the whole guitar neck straight drops down if im not holding it. My starting sits up quite regardless of whether I'm holding. My sg is very uncomfortable to keep standing up, is there anything i can do? 5 * for best answer!

Try using a different kind of guitar strap. I have a leather strap that provides enough friction to hold the guitar neck from hanging.
