Is it possible to put bass strings on a regular electric guitar?

Is it possible to put bass strings on a regular electric guitar? or would pickups f *** up or truss rod will not be able to take the excitement? I guess you would have to replace the tuners and the machine heads with Bass them and nut would either be filed down or replaced. The short version would be a sound come out of it through a bass amplifier that sounds like a bass guitar?

You probably would not get a very good sound, even if you managed to replace the hardware and get the strings on. A guitar is not as long as a bass and it would be difficult, if not impossible, to tune the strings to the correct pitch without breaking anything. The intonation would probably be terrible as well and it would be really awkward to play. I would recommend you buy a bass instead of modding a guitar with bass parts and potentially destroy the instrument.
