carlo robelli guitar acoustic electric

I compare acoustic electric guitars. Is maple or mahogany for better resonance of a guitar?
Okay. I've been playing guitar for about 5 years on a Carlo Robelli with mediocre sound quality (even with new strings). I'm considering acoustic electric guitars and need help finding the best quality. Of course I will check it out in the shop, but I need to know what will last. I choose between two Ibanez. ONE has Maple back and sides Flamed maple top Mahogany neck with rosewood fretboard Rosewood bridge others Spruce top mahogany back and sides, which sounds more promising, considering I usually play unplugged.
If you're looking for a good acoustic electric guitar have Taylor 214ce. Ibanez is not in a class with Taylor. Spend more and get a much better guitar. Why go from a mediocre guitar for a second? Mahogany and maple have different voices. Maple is much brighter and has more treble than mahogany. They are both fine tone woods, so it's simply a matter of which you prefer.
