I want to get a guitar building kit for my band but im not sure if I need pick ups it comes with, or go out and buy some. Someone please help, I need to know what to do sooo bad. I've been playing guitar for two years, so I dont want a beginer guitar / pickups. it is also worth the money to buy a new guitar, or putty, or a kit with new pickups

It depends on the kit really. I bought a kit and the SAGA was pretty decent. I changed the bridge, tuners, and of course the pickups. The bridge that came with it was decent, but ehh I did really like the quality. I spent bridge and tuners from an old Epiphone LP Special. The pickups so like they sucked. So I bought some EMG 81/85 's. I dont really play much pure stuff, so they were perfect. Neck and fretboard was actually pretty decent. After it was put together I got it set up professionally, and also got gnaw saved. Its actually pretty hard to build, if you dont know what your doing. Save your money and buy an Epiphone Les Paul Standard. Http: / / guitars.musiciansfriend.com / product / Epiphone-Les Paul Standard Plain-Top Electric -Guitar? sku = 517413 # use
