guitar case latches

locked me out of my Gibson hard shell case?

I want to put locks on my hard shell Gibson Les Paul Case, and I've never been before, The little red tape is still in the 000 position, and I close the latch and the case will not unlock. and since I have never set combo, I dont know what it is so I can open it. IM stack. and my guitar is in there. Does anyone know what I should do?

Charlie is right, it should open. If you have time to take it to a dealer and maybe they will help you. I never could figure out why the locks on the guitar case anyway. If I do not want people messing with my guitar I'm gonna put it up somewhere so they can not get to it. And if somebody's gonna steal it I do not think they are gonna worry about taking it out of court first.
