Should I keep my guitar in the case or whether it says. Which one is better for my guitar?

I have a Gibson Lespaul and a Shecter Damien FR. I would love to put them in charge, because I hate dragging them out when I want to play. But they are nice guitars and I do not want anything to happen with them. What is best for guitar?

My suggestion would be to get wall hangers. I have broken my guitar neck tripping on a tripod. The fall and I fall on it, and boom, it is broken. If you get wall hangers, you can see the guitar, and you can not trip over them.
