You can use many different types of pedals with your amp .. Just adjust the volume. "Turn down the input volume". I use a "BOSS ME-33 pedal" … <
It has some cool features and it's not very expensive here. Around $ 200.00 American. Check with musiciansfriend.com ... I'm playing a Yamaha guitar with this setup and it sounds great! Although I am thinking of a new Fender or Ibanez? My pedal is hooked to a "PEAVEY Bandit 112 Trans Tube Series" ... It is a 65 watt amplifier with a single 12 inch speaker .. sounds great! I love the Boss pedal I have, and I highly recommend it! Great sounds and a lot of them! I think it would work fine with your amp, but I will look for a bigger amp to get the full sound spectrum of your setup. If you are interested in a bigger amp, I would recommend the Peavey Trans-Tube ... good tone and not particularly high .. Check http://www.musiciansfriend.com the pedals. http://www.bossus.com/ Check here for BOSS pedals too. If you can not find a ME-33 You can check out the ME-50! You can check them for prices and see if they will ship to you. Have a nice day .. God Bless ... see ya ...

The first step in learning the guitar is to determine your skill level. Beginners and intermediates should find a resource designed for them, and leave advanced guitar lessons for later as they become more proficient. It is wise to start with something designed for your skill level, which makes guitar instruction more fun.
