please i need anyone to help me to get electic guitar sound effects software using my pc…i have my guitar and a plug in the mic in my sound card i can play clean normally and listen to it from any speakers plugged to my pc ..my question is how can I transform this clean sound to distortion sound or overdriven sound through my pc ?i read alot about vst host but i couldn’t understand i need a simple one and thanks for helping

I hope this helps… I have read that you can download real-time filters… I guess what you got to download the software, turn it on and select the filters… Then, it applies the effect in real time to the input signal (aka guitar…)… I never downloaded any, but several of them can be downloaded from www.softonic.com…
In the field search, input something like “guitar filter” or just guitar and take your time reading the opinions and stuff, and you’ll come across a good one…
