guitar foot rests
My foot hurts really bad?

so I struck my foot on my guitar yesterday and like 10 seconds after the top of my foot swelled and than it went down and formed a Dent with a bruise. All this happened in like an hour and foot were pushed into the guitar. I got a searing pain in my foot and than it went away. it did not hurt so bad this morning, but as the day wore on the pain got worse and worse throughout the day, and now it hurts at rest when I go, not just when I stand, but ive been icing for the last hour to and from it, it also hurts to bend my foot down. and when I press the bruising. I dont want to use crutches because I hate them, but if u think I should I will, I havnt been to a doctor and im on break so I have time to rest it. I thought just putting up and staying on crutches. Could it be broken or just badly bruised? Im also 15 btw just to clarify in accidentally stumbled on the guitar cause it was dark in the room

Take Advil every 4 hours to reduce inflammation, and wrap it in an Ace bandage, and wear good, supportive shoes. If the ice makes it feel better, keep it up, even for 20 minutes every hour. Even if you've managed to break one of the small bones at the top your feet (and it is not likely), physicians would not really be able to do much for you other than that.
