Comic Relief??

do the people who are present / not sketches to / take part in all these events like Comic Relief and Live Aid donate money themselves? I can not imagine ant and December pay for there own flights out of Africa? although I may be wrong im not sure? I know that for live support all artists received a "goody bag" each got a guitar (sp?) in the form of Africa, worth £ 5000 … it just seems a little strange to me that they would do something like this … certainly put all the £ 5,000 's direction of the cause makes more sense??

absolutely agree with you. I would have much more respect for these celebrities, if they got more money and time. Many of them seem to do it for publicity. How many of them have been gathering for hours in the street? We come to feel guilty about not to give, or do our bit. I give every year because it is a worthy cause and I feel pressured to do so because the 'guilt factor'.
