guitar hero 3 bundle ps2

I've had a wireless Guitar Hero 3 Bundle for PS2 for a while and now my guitar dosent work!?

light on the guitar is on, but the playstation says there is no controller plugged in and lights on the part that connect to PlayStation dosent turn on ive checked Batterien tried to restart the PS2 several times and pushed firmly into the controller port im working on getting a 360 but im broke now I'm worried that the receiver is fried because all my other controllers work

Nick R bad answer. You have Kramer striker guitar then try something? blowing on the receiver part where it plugs in and make sure nothing is blocking the sensor on the guitar or the wireless receiver. You need to push the button on the receiver to get it to connect to the guitar.
