There really is not much of a difference between the two versions. PS3 version will have slightly better graphics than the PS2 version. PS3 version will have improved sound (just a little better quality than the PS2 version). The wireless guitars on the PS3 version will get better. The game got an average of 8.5 on the PS3 and an average of 7 on PS2.
