guitar knobs

How do u take off guitar volume knobs off?

I need to go pickguard and I have to take out buttons. I already did some reserch and it said to loosen the screws. Miner has no screws, so I guess its a push and pull. But i really dont get what that means I push and pull, and the feel as though I prefer the harder it will break it so subsequent to feel that way? Or are they just so subsequent to come out easily? Or should I not pushing and pulling the right way?

im guessing you have a Fender?? what I do is to use a flat screwdriver to loosen it a little then take a pliers and pull it out. hope it works … o yea and be careful not to damage ur guitar
