guitar lessons dvds
beginner electric guitar question … of some kind.?

my brother asks, although I do not think it makes much sense, what kind of exercises helps you to be able to play electric solos as, perhaps, Metallica, Iron Maiden stuff? He struggled with his guitar since maybe 10-11 months downloading guitar tabs, trying to play them … and though I keep telling him, try more things like maybe cranberry first, keep trying immortal (Some super-fast black metal band), and the like. he is as downloaded and then maybe 50 guitar lessons DVDs, where they keep talking about pentatonic scales and what (I even remember KRAP) … I think he just needs discipline and stick to a certain song, until he can thoroughly play it … Overall, he feels something is missing I guess? what could it be?

There is a great DVD set that is right up your brother's alley, as it leads you through the steps needed to play very complicated metal solos. There are three DVDs (beginner, intermediate, advanced) and one book for each of them, and they contain everything he had to learn of many years private lessons. But the advantage of working with DVDs, he'll be able to work at their own pace and pick and choose the things he wants to know. And when he is struggling, he can go back and review the relevant parts. Even better, the whole set costs less than $ 40 Here is a link: http://books-videos-music.musiciansfriend.com/product/Rock-House-Learn-Rock-Guitar-Beginner-Intermediate-Advanced-Package?sku=942719

The first step in learning the guitar is to determine your skill level. Beginners and intermediates should find a resource designed for them, and leave advanced guitar lessons for later as they become more proficient. It is wise to start with something designed for your skill level, which makes guitar instruction more fun. Click Here For A Learn To Play Guitar Product Review
