Learning guitar and have questions?

Okay, I want to play guitar so badly. I have an acoustic at home that we bought at a yard sale a few years back. I'm no expert, but I think it's in good enough shape to play. My family is in an economic situation and I have not really want to bug them about paying for guitar lessons, so I try to teach online. But here's the thing: I do not know anything about guitar. Sure I know how it the neck and body, basic things like this. But I do not know what string is what note, what string is the sixth, fifth, and so on leash. I do not know what the second fret is-I know what fret themselves, I just do not know which is which. I am determined to teach myself online but I can not find good places to answer my questions, or something relatively cheap guitar lessons (I live near Lewisburg, PA, I know where Harrisburg is, blah blah blah). Help?
