guitar loop station

I need help with looking at an electric guitar loop station?

I play metal and want to be able to record my own rhythm to save and be able to bring up later rather than have a rhythm in a band Veil of Maya means I'm playing out of a spider 2 150 and have used my friends rc-2 and fun but the sound changes and stuff, when I change modeled amps on my spider, My price range will be between 200-600 bucks, and all attribute would be greatly appreciated I would also like to have a good drum track, so I could jam with them

If the sound change is a problem, not your amp has two plugs labeled send / Return, or labeled such loop? try putting the Looper inbetween there, one cable goes from forward to pedaling input, so a return to return, this must register it with whatever sound you are using at the time, so when you switch to a solo channel for example, will rythmn still soound the same. RC-2 or RC-20 should work fine for any of them.
