Really need help with picking out tuning machine heads?

It is the first time I've dealt with the purchase tuning machine heads, and I know not what im looking for. Are there different sizes? What are the best brands? And I tune my guitar every time I play anywhere from standard tuning to open one, so I need something strong. And if you could help me pick out a nice saddle it would be much appreciated … XD (By the way im shopping for an acoustic guitar, not electric.)
