How do I use my MIDI-compatible drum kit to play Guitar Hero World Tour for Wii?

I have a cable that connects MIDI connector to the USB connector on Wii, but Wii does not want to note that it exists and is connected to it. It has 7 pads and 2 pedals. It's a Yamaha. Is it possible to use my MIDI-compatible drum kits as a controller in Guitar Hero World Tour and how? Additional Details I saw this guy with a MIDI-compatible drum kit for Guitar Hero World Tour for Nintendo Wii on Youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wpkiy8aOZ … I asked this guy, but his English and my French is not too good.

Only the official Guitar Hero drums connector in the remote control is compatible with the Wii version of GHWT without some kind of technical finesse. The game will not recognize USB drums, which is why the Rock Band drums are not compatible. If you are so desperate, why not you just ask the guy on YouTube, how it works? Of course he got it to work.
