Guitar software that shows up the music tab on the fretboard?
Right my friend once used this piece of guitar software that showed up the tab on the fretboard. So you knew exactly where to play on the fretboard. And could get the tabs off the internet and put them into the software. I thought it was guitar pro 6 but I can’t seem to find how to get the notes to show up on the fretboard.
I either have the wrong program, or the wrong tabs, or just can’t get it to work on guitar pro 6.. either way could someone help me??
I’m desperate to teach myself guitar, and I know this is a good way to being.

I don’t know about GP6, but in GP5, you have to go in the top bar, click View, then Fretboard. If its not that, then I’m sorry to have wasted your time.
