guitar nut files

Adjustable guitar nut?
OK, I'm not quite sure how this sentence, but …. I play a Fender Stratocaster guitar modeled at the moment and I wanted to upgrade to a different guitar soon a couple of reasons. I would also like to play heavier measuring strings, but can not at this guitar, unless I permanent file down the nut to fit. Are there guitars that come with an essentially "adjustable" nut who will take the strings of all sizes, so I can look it up?
Never heard of an adjustable nut before. Modification of a nut is no big deal. Theres usually only a drop or two the glue keeping it on, so it can be easily taken out. The nut slots can also be made larger with a nut file. What measuring strings would you use? Most strategies that I work on, will easily accept 11 or 12 gauge with very little or sometimes not administered to all. Or as I said to change a nut is very easy. If you get a new guitar the folks at the store make sure that it will work with your gauge strings before you buy it.
