How do I wire my custom guitar?
I’m building a guitar with one pickup and one volume knob. I know how to build it, but how would i wire the pickup to the knob to the jack? Will buying this (http://www.warmoth.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=64_78_83&products_id=25455) help? Any help is appreciated. Do I need to solder, what kind of wires, etc.
And what’s copper shielding tape for?

I bought the Bernzomatic butane pen soldering Kit it comes wit everything but the can of Butane.
the wires you linked are probabry good , a full kit of what you need,
the shielding tape though I hane no idea, probably meant to shield signal from nearby parts te prevent Crosstalk.
