guitar rig 3 hardware
I’ve got REALTEK ALC-662 built-in audio. how do I get it to work with Guitar Rig 3?

Help! I just got a new ASUS motherboard, with Realtek ALC 662 built-in audio. the problem is, I can’t seem to get it to work with guitar rig 3. I did the usual stuff, downloaded ASIO drivers and set them up same as I did with my old PC which had SOUNDMAX built-in (which worked excellent, BTW) . still, when I plug in my guitar into my line-in, All I get is this terrible droning, whining sound. I get the same results with Amplitube 2 and GT PRO, so I know It’s my hardware setup that’s got to have a problem. The guitar input works fine when none of these programs are running, but when I try to use it with any of these, it’s a real earsplitter.
So, questions:

–Any suggestions?

–what would be a nice setup with ASIO4All, given an intel core duo 2.4 and 1 gig of RAM?

—How do I get my stuff to work?? I need to record real bad…

Hope someone out there could help me out… loads of thanks
