What to buy the guitar?

I know I'ma little early, but I like getting all my Christmas shopping done early. My boyfriend is a die-hard guitarist and I really want to get him something he will love and use when he plays guitar. I thought about getting him a personalized guitar strap, but I could not find one that I thought he liked. So I took it AmPlug. Is there anyone who has one and is it really a good gift? Anyone else have any ideas? He plays acoustic.
