guitar tuning knobs

Do they make something to “childproof” a guitar from de-tuning?
My husband plays guitar and so does our 20 month old son… (lol). Well, they enjoy playing with each other, but my husband gets frustrated when our son turns the knobs and de-tunes the guitar a few times a day. Do they make anything to put over the knob things to avoid this? I would ask him, but I am thinking for a Christmas gift.
My husband enjoys letting the little guy strum a guitar as he does too. We have 4 guitars which were not cheap… so buying another one doesn’t make sense, and putting them out of reach defeats the purpose of letting him strum along.
Our son has his own guitar even, but he doesn’t like playing it after it’s been detuned… he likes the sound of it tuned way better, and is mad when it’s not tuned… but he can’t resist detuning. LOL.
Get a guitar that has a locking tremolo, like a Floyd Rose; you won’t loose your tuning by turning the knobs as it’s locked in, but turning it too much can break the strings though when it’s locked, but i doubt he turns that much (;
or just buy a hard guitar case with a lock and keep the guitar in it (:
or simply just keep it out of reach by installing a wall bracket to hang the guitar
EDIT: then just install a Floyd Rose tremolo in the guitar, this way he can strum and play with it without running the tunning much. So maybe just buy the Floyd Rose
