Guitar Hero 2 for Sony PlayStation 2 (PS2)

An estimated 75, 000 people are packed together in a huge place, all those screaming your band's name in the community. The lights dim and you do your last minute preparation before you finally hit the stage to make your fans some of your greatest hits. You slid the guitar over his shoulder and audience energy got you all pumped up. No, this is not one of many young ultimate fantasy into reality. But it could just be the next best.

This is RedOctane is sequel to the impressive series of popular PS2 game Guitar Hero. In early 2006, was the first Guitar Hero released which allowed you to connect a Gibson copy guitar into your PS2, so you can rock as one of the music industry's legends.

The basic prerequisite for this game is that you plug your guitar controller has 5 colored buttons and ribbon Strummer into your device. So notes of your chosen rock song on the screen, so you can start strumming away with the song.

Like a successor is supposed to be, RedOctane and Harmonix have improved features in this game. The difficulty mode has been upgraded with 2 new and practical additions: Co-op mode and practice mode.

The new Co-op mode makes the game even more fun as you get to play with a friend, which one of you plays lead guitar and the other takes up either rhythm or bass, depending on the song you have chosen. Since everything is shared between the two players, this mode requires that the two of you to work together to build your score meter. If you want to use Star Power, simply tilt your guitar at the same time. As you go along, each of your scores will be tallied together and thus increase your star power meter.

Perfecting this game, and the songs are now possible with the addition of a practice mode. In this mode, you can choose to adjust the speed at 3 different levels: Slowly, slowly, and slowest. This will allow you to find notes from a song that the parts of the song is sectioned off. You can choose to practice in certain parts of a song when you're not pathetic.

The practice mode, but works best to improve your technique rather than speed. This will help you to find out how you must attack a song and perfect notes.

And with the multiplayer mode, 2 players get to compete to play the same song throughout. Talk about taking this rocking game experience to the next level! This game is of course your next best way to be part of a real band.

Compared with the first Guitar Hero, the song list for this one was upgraded for you to have more choices. There is always something for everyone's taste, whether you're into Megadeth, Ozzy Osbourne, Pantera, Franz Ferdinand, Motorhead, and even some of Emo today's selection.

So if you have not purchased one of these yet, you better hold of one and be on your way to experience music, and games like never before.
