FPGC was started in 2005 by Luthier Joe Swierupski.  Joe's love of guitars is shown in both his designs and craftsmanship.  Constantly in search of the finest tonewoods and sonic ideals, he builds each instrument as if he himself were going to play it for the rest of his life-- something the larger assembly line companies can't compete with.

Joe graduated from the Roberto-Venn School of Luthiery and has since stayed on as an instructor.  Not only a trained luthier, he is a guitar player of over thirteen years and knows what players look for in fine instruments. Who could ask for anything better?
